Route Guide
Srinagar sits at 1,585m; Gulmarg, Pahalgam, and Sonamarg climb higher into the surrounding ranges. Most groups fly in (Srinagar is roughly an hour from Delhi by air, versus 15–18 hours by road via Jammu), and we build the itinerary around three bases: a houseboat night on Dal Lake, Gulmarg for the gondola and mountain air, and Pahalgam for the Lidder valley. We run it as a slower, softer counterpoint to our high-altitude Himachal routes.
Dal Lake & Houseboats
