Chandigarh sits directly on the route north from Delhi to Shimla, a natural overnight break, and a genuinely different city worth an afternoon: Le Corbusier's Capitol Complex, Nek Chand's Rock Garden built from industrial waste, and Sukhna Lake at the edge of the Shivalik foothills. We often route groups through here on the way to Himachal.
